In Ossining, NY, the homeowner had a white wooden driveway gate operated by hand after its Mighty Mule automatic opener failed entirely. We removed the old Mighty Mule hardware, including the wooden post that had held its keypad, rather than attempting a repair. In its place we set a new curved metal post to carry the keypad and sensor, ran electrical conduit underground and up the post to power the control box, and installed a new automatic opener on the gate. The work covered the gate's alignment, hardware mounting, and electrical connections from start to finish. Once the new system was in place, we cycled the gate to confirm it moved smoothly and calibrated its safety features before closing out the job. The gate at this Ossining property now opens and closes automatically.
