In Peekskill, NY, the hallway, bathroom, and bedroom doors were damaged flat-panel doors, the closet bifold door had a large hole in it, and two areas of drywall needed patching. In total, five doors needed attention: three swing doors, an extra-tall closet bifold, and a second bifold door. We cut and scribed new hollow-core door slabs to fit the existing non-standard openings for the hallway, bathroom, and bedroom doors. On the bathroom and bedroom doors, we installed new privacy knobs with a satin chrome finish. For the closet, we special-ordered an extra-tall six-panel bifold door and hung it, then re-hung a second bifold door. We also patched the two areas of drywall. The new doors and trim were finished in semi-gloss white paint, and the flat-panel doors we replaced are now new six-panel molded interior doors. In Peekskill, the hallway, bathroom, and bedroom openings now hold these new doors, and the closet's extra-tall bifold and second bifold door hang finished in the same white paint alongside the patched drywall.
