In Yonkers, NY, we handled two pieces of handyman work in a residential apartment: assembling a queen-size bed frame and mounting a television on a hallway wall. When we arrived, the mattress was leaning against the bedroom wall and the new bed frame was still sealed in its factory packaging. The hallway wall where the television would go was bare except for an outlet, and the hallway floor was wood plank with an area rug leading toward the bedroom's beige carpet. We sorted the hardware, locked the side rails into the headboard and footboard brackets, and laid and secured the slat system before setting the mattress into place. The frame carries a tufted dark gray headboard with integrated LED lighting. By the end of the job in Yonkers, the bed sat assembled on the bedroom's beige carpet, and the television hung flush and level on the matte beige wall in the hallway.
