What the job involves
A typical job starts with a walk-through of the rooms getting painted. We move furniture as needed, cover floors and fixtures, then patch minor wall damage — nail holes, small dents, hairline cracks — before priming any bare drywall or repaired spot so the color goes on even.
Walls and ceilings get two coats once prep is done. Trim and doors get the same treatment: sanding, spot-priming where the old finish is worn, then two coats in the sheen you picked. Exterior painting and cabinet painting are separate services with their own scope and pricing.

The estimate turns into a line-item proposal — prep, priming, paint, and any repairs are broken out separately, along with the materials themselves. You see the numbers before you approve anything, and we aim to get back to you within 30 minutes of your request.
What's included, and what's quoted separately
Interior painting with us includes surface prep, patching of minor wall damage, priming where the surface calls for it, protection of floors and furniture, and two coats of finish paint. All paint, primer, and consumables are supplied by us and listed as their own lines on the quote. You approve the color and sheen before we start, and we clean up the space when the job's done.
Damage beyond minor patching — a section of cracked plaster, water staining, or a wall that needs board replaced — gets its own line on the quote rather than folded into the painting price. Exterior painting and cabinet painting are quoted and scheduled separately as well.
Timing and living with the work
Bronxville limits construction, alteration, and repair work to 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday work. We schedule around that window, so plan on weekday visits for prep, painting, and any follow-up coats.
We build in dry time between coats rather than rushing a second coat onto a wall that isn't ready, so a single room usually means more than one visit. Furniture stays covered and floors stay protected for the length of the job, and we walk you through the space at the end before calling it finished.
