A mounted TV should be level, securely anchored and free of dangling cords. We mount TVs on drywall, plaster, brick and above fireplaces, and we hide the cables on the wall or inside it. There are four packages, and the prices are below. We are a licensed, insured contractor based in Mount Vernon.
The four packages
Bare mount, $250: one TV up to 65 inches on drywall, on your bracket or ours, level and secure, with the cords left as they are. Mount with raceway, $325: the mount, plus the cables hidden in a paintable raceway on the wall surface. Mount with in-wall concealment, $550: the mount, plus an in-wall power kit and in-wall-rated cables, with nothing showing. Full package, $900: a full-motion or above-fireplace mount with in-wall concealment, the soundbar mounted and the bracket supplied by us. The $900 figure is confirmed when we see the wall.
More than one TV
Each additional TV on the same visit is $200 for a bare mount, $275 with a raceway, and $425 with in-wall concealment.

A TV of 75 inches or larger is $110 more, because it takes two people to lift. Mounting on brick or stone, or above a fireplace, is $225 more. A soundbar mount is $100. Plaster walls, or a cable run that has to cross studs, is $175 more and is confirmed when we see the wall.
How we hide the wires
In-wall concealment uses an in-wall power kit and in-wall-rated cables, which is the way to do it to code. We do not run an ordinary power cord inside a wall. A new outlet behind the TV, or any new wiring, is licensed electrical work and is outside our scope.

How much does TV mounting cost?
A bare mount for one TV up to 65 inches on drywall is $250. With a surface raceway it is $325, and with in-wall wire concealment it is $550. A full-motion or above-fireplace mount with concealment and a soundbar is $900, confirmed when we see the wall.
Can you hide the wires in the wall?
Yes. We use an in-wall power kit and in-wall-rated cables so nothing shows. That package is $550 for the first TV.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace or on brick?
Yes. Mounting on brick or stone, or above a fireplace, is $225 more than the package price.
Do I need to buy the bracket?
You can supply the bracket or we can. When we supply it, it is added to the quote. The $900 package includes a bracket supplied by us.
Can you add an outlet behind the TV?
No. A new outlet or any new wiring is licensed electrical work and is outside our scope. An in-wall power kit gives you power behind the TV without new wiring.
