If the cabinet boxes are sound, the kitchen does not need new cabinets. We degrease, sand, prime and spray the doors, drawer fronts and boxes to a smooth, even finish. We are a licensed, insured contractor based in Mount Vernon. We supply the paint and primer, and you approve the color and sheen. The price comes with a free on-site estimate and a written, line-item quote.
What is included
Doors and drawer fronts are removed, numbered and finished on both faces. Boxes and face frames are finished in place. Every surface is degreased, sanded and primed before paint, because kitchen grease is what makes cabinet paint peel. Hardware goes back on, or new hardware goes on if you have chosen it.
Painting, refinishing and refacing
Painting and refinishing keep your existing doors and boxes and give them a new finish. Refacing replaces the doors and covers the boxes with a new surface. If your doors are solid and you like the layout, painting is the smaller job.
